Zero distance for a Galil Ace .308

Probably going to run a T-1 for now, mounted low to co-witness with the irons. I'm looking for an IBSZ-type zero distance for M80 Ball that, like the 5.56mm IBSZ, gives a good "flat" trajectory for a reasonable distance without holdovers.

16" barrel, so I'd imagine M80 Ball running in the vicinity of 2500fps +/- and I think the height-over-bore is around 2.5".

Why would you not Zero to 50/200 with a RD and irons?

I would, but does that work with 7.62x51 M80 Ball like it does with 5.56mm?

    It'll be darned close.
I dial in at 50 because it's easy.
    I verify at 200.

My local range, which is close, is limited to 100 yds.
My ranch is an hour and a half out- but I can shoot to 800 yds.
I'll dial in a few guns at 50 and haul them to the ranch to verify Zero when I have time.

Zero @ 1.0" over POA at 50 yards. Verify zero at 225 yards. Hold C.O.M. and shoot out to 300 yards. POI @ 300 yards should be about -4.0". Hold at the top of the head at 400 yards.

That is essentially what I was looking for, thanks!
