I've shot 158/147 and both had a crack. Fed fine but definitely went over 1000 fps.

If I remember correctly the 147gr were Remington Saber.

FYI - I think the Speer Lawman 147gr has been going supersonic out of my 5.5" barrelled PCC recently, maybe due to the colder temps.

I usually wear electronic ears when I shoot, so maybe this has been happening more often than not. I let someone else shoot on Sunday and it sounded like most of the rounds went supersonic. That day it was 55F and I am at ~120 ft elevation. Speer says this stuff is 985fps, so well under the calculated 1110fps sound barrier.

I need to buy chrono anyways and am interested to see what I get.
