Cutting shottie barrel

Hey guys getting ready to do my first SBS build. Once I get my stamp back, can any gunsmith cut my barrel or does it need to be sent to someone with who deals with NFA goodies? I've looked and cant find a firm answer...Thanks

A Form one is to manufacture an NFA gun, so you, as the manufacturer, can do it. (pretty sure)

One problem, Don't ever say "shottie". Please.

I take it you did a form 1.
Well, before the executive order by obammy completely redefining much of gunsmithing, any gunsmith could do it.
But now, it's "manufacturing", so, either an 07, or a gunsmith paying itar, at least legally.
It's not that hard to do yourself, really. Especially if it's a single barrel, like a pump or semiauto.

You, a machinist (if you stay with it) or any gunsmith that is competent enough to do the work. I would have a professional do it, contact Rose Actions Sports

My gunsmith is an 07, and I left him a copy of the completed Form 1 while he had the 870 barrel in his possession.
