    FN 509

If there’s one thing that the Army’s Modular Handgun System (MHS) competition brought us, it’s a slew of variations and brand new models of pistols from across the board. Though we now know that Sig Sauer took the winning goal in that game, we all still get to share the benefits. And the latest commercial release comes to us in the form of the FN 509.

Looks pretty interesting, first I've heard of it. Anyone have some firsthand input?

I wonder how the warranty is? Hope it isn't the same as the FNS line of pistols.

It was announced this morning. It largely looks like a evolution of the FNS pistols with busier styling. I might finally pick up an FNS if they drop pricing.

It looks like its just a revamped FNS.

I don't know of any distributors that even have it yet. Though I am sure it will not be long. (probably by Wednesday)

FN usually puts out good quality. Looks interesting, even though the market is flooded right now. I'll watch that video on my lunch break.

Very cool ! Loved my FNS9, only reason I sold it was to fund another project ! Have always wanted another one & this looks like a FNS only better. Glad the mags are still somewhat compatable,I still have a few hanging around.

Looks like a viable contender. I look forward to seeing more reviews on it.

I like FN long arms, but their pistols are a complete "meh".
