    1st AR and 1st Build

    D71_3459.jpgD71_3466.jpg

1st AR build. Thought about buying a basic, preassembled rifle, but figured I would start upgrading pretty quick, so decided to build it instead. Also, this would help me learn more about the internal workings of the gun. The main parts are a partially assembled Aero upper receiver and stripped Aero lower receiver; PSA lower parts kit with their enhanced fire control group and Magpul MOE+ grip; PSA Magpul ACS-L Stock Kit; PSA 5.56 Premium HPT/MPI Full Auto Bolt Carrier Group & PSA AR15/M16 Charging Handle; 18" 223 Wylde 5R stainless barrel (rifle gas), gas block and gas tube from Sanders Armory; UTG 15" super slim free float rail in M-LOK.

Have not had a chance to take it out yet, but hope to soon.

    I like the layout.

    Looks like an enjoyable setup.

Watch out for the PSA hate, for the record, I think you made a great choice for your first build and AR.

Compare to a prebuilt, you could have spent a little more for what most of the community would suggest, but the first one is special, and hand assembled even more so.

Great job. Let us know if its reliable for your needs.
