It looks like the extraction issue is solved. I ran 15 rounds loaded with Speer TNT's this morning on a select fire lower. All 15 rounds ran full auto without an issue.

I had hoped to actually get a target put up and do a little bit more shooting for accuracy but I didn't get the time today. There's a 3-gun match this weekend that I'd like to use the Wolverine in but I just might not have the time to get some stuff done before the match.

Thats really cool, just hope that they have a back up plan? Lofty goals for only 60 days.

If I ever do adopt this round, its because I bought a press and not because my local store carries a load.

Mark's going to need 2,000 people to contribute to pull this off. That's a pretty lofty goal. I'll be surprised if he meets it.

Hey Tok, can you test with subs and supers if 277 will chamber in a 556 gun?

It would seem that the 277 can be chambered in a 5.56 after all.

In this video I loaded two dummy rounds. One with a 90gr Speer Gold Dot. The other with a Federal 150gr Fusion. Neither round chambered on the initial drop of the bolt but the next cycling did allow the bolt to fully go into battery.

I didn't try to chamber the second round due to the fact that I had to pry the bolt out of the upper. Still I'm confident either round would have fully chambered on the 2nd loading.

My gas port shim from Black River Tactical arrived in today's mail. Installing it was simple and straight forward. I'd guess it didn't take more than half an hour.

I went with a .060" shim thinking it would be too small to run the gun and would be small enough that I could drill accordingly. Well, to my surprise, the gun cycled subsonic suppressed at .060 but wouldn't lock the bolt open. Drilling to .063 seems about right and I'm getting lockback with a 150gr bullet and 9.8gr of CFE BLK.

Tomorrow I will see how supersonic stuff runs although I'm very confident it'll run fine. Probably still maybe a bit over gassed for supers.
