    Craziest Thing You Ever Bought Just for Sh*ts and Grins

    My girlfriend constantly gives me grief for wearing a replica of a Union Civil War forage cap. I love that hat. Ever since the "Wee Pals" cartoon in the early seventies (one kid wears a similar cap) I've had a yen for wearing a Union bummer. I went to great lengths to obtain an authentic one from Dirty Billy's. Supposedly Dirty Billy's is the "Tier One" maker for authenticity.

    If it weren't so hot in the summer, I'd wear it year 'round.
