    fixed blade help

I'm looking for some help, I want to get a fixed blade knife for EDC/CCW. I'm not looking for anything overly big just something that fits the hand and has about a 3" blade, maybe a little longer and would prefer non rubber grips. also not looking to spend a crazy amount of money on this. thank you in advance

This one might fit your requirements pretty well. It has a 3.75" blade and good handle, but no kydex sheath if that makes a difference. Price isn't outrageous

A couple other good options that might fit your needs:

    Schrade http://www.bladehq.com/item--Schrade...ed-Drop--15853

Gerber ghost strike http://www.gerbergear.com/Knives/Fix...lade_30-001005 (handle may not be the most comfortable but i like the sheath)

    Crkt spew https://www.crkt.com/s-p-e-w-small-p...arncliffe.html

I have the SPEW and while it's a nice knife the blade is REALLY thin, especially at the tip. I'm thinking that hamming it into anything will cause it to break.

well something like that would be good, im not oppose to getting a custom made knife just don't want to break the bank and its not gonna be a show piece but a carry piece

The Esee 3 and Esee 3HM are solid choices, and under $100.

Esse makes great knives that are incredibly durable. I have the Esse 5 and it's a great bushcraft knife. That being said, they are usually on the bigger/heavier side. I haven't handled the Esse3 but if it's built like it's bigger brothers, it might be a little thick and heavy for an EDC knife. I could be wrong though. And if size/weight doesn't bother you, they are great quality knives. They also make the Izula-II that could be a good option

Look at the Izula if you really want to go lightweight, or the Izula-II. The Izula is a really popular fixed blade EDC knife, but doesn't have a big handle. The Izula-II is the same knife with a bigger handle. But both are popular EDC fixed blades from ESSE
