    Breaking Bad!!

Or some of us watch our old DVDs or VHS tapes semi regularly. Sometimes I watch old commercials on youtube.

I dont care so much about the shows but who I watched them with and so on.

Like Tour of Duty was a big conversation starter with my old man. Or reruns of Sgt Saunders.

There are some albums are songs that were favorites of people not here.

In some ways the TV was the family campfire. So its not all about dudes with autism stacking blocks and reciting minutiae.

No different than being able to quote the barrel twist for just about every Colt rifle ever produced.

I'm pretty sure the sudden black screen was to symbolize Tony being shot in the head by the guy leaving the bathroom in the Members Only Jacket.

Yep, it's all about what clicks and sticks in the brain. We all have our 'Ah-Ha' moments. (and the first line of your sig is spot on, if I haven't mentioned it previously)

Indeed. I spent several months in a Serbo-Croat portion of the world about 20 years back and a major portion of our entertainment
was drinking local piss-tasting Pivo with the wooden window shades closed and watching (over and over) movies such as 'Pulp Fiction' and
    'From Dusk til dawn'.

The best part was taking turns quoting the lines in the movies verbatim. I've never been a high-speed, low-drag type but I had my skills and sometimes, even though it will
sound like silly babble to most, small crap like that let you know that you and your compatriots would be in lock-step when the bell rang.

    Just sayin'...

I've honestly really never been blown away by any series finale...

But Breaking bad was well done, as well as Sons of Anarchy.

Within the last ten-ish years, my vote for best finale goes to White Collar. I thought it was a great show from beginning to end with no wobbles in story or production. A bad (good) guy you can root for, great comedy/drama intertwined dialogue, and hot women in every episode.

I was actually not fond of Breaking Bad's finale. I think that series fell into the money trap, as indicated by the last season being short. I think it should've ended shortly after chicken man got blowed up. Walt needed comeuppance, but I think the 5th (?) season and short final season wrap up was poorly crafted and didn't fit in with the overall story. Although remote Control M60 was pretty baller.
