Shot my two SBRs. One has a TD stubby VFG the other does not. Got home and decided I want a VFG for the other one. Ordered a BCM shorty VFG.

I installed my IWC SMC mount and G2x Tactical light on my 16" Mid length BCM. I put off getting a light for a long time, now I think that my "serious" gun is complete.

wasnt today but last week wed's i finally added a magpul moe carbine handguard to my AR.... man was it a bitch doing it lol.... had to have my self holding down the D-ring and my dad putting the handguards in lol.... that D-ring was tight AF lol......
I installed my VG6 Epsilon 5.56 on my 16" Faxon flame fluted barrel yesterday. I'm ordering Steiner's P4Xi next week that will complete this particular build set up.
Put Shockwave Blade on Vltor Pistol Kit, then test-fitted it to lower. Do I still get to claim "pistol" status if it goes over 26" OAL?

Took my 6721 to a Project Appleseed.
Haven't shot my LMT MWS in a year. Took it to the range yesterday and cracked a lens inside my scope.
Added an ambi-charging handle and rubber thumb pad indexing point thingy...

Installed a Timney 3lb. Competition single-stage trigger to my 20" Windham a couple of weeks ago. It's scope with a 4-12 Vortex and I use it for longer range (100 meters +) stuff. The trigger actually gauges at 2.8 / 2.9. Little to no take-up and very little reset. Smooth as butter. Along with the obvious, one of my favorite impressions is the measurable decrease in time reacquiring the target. Very little reacquisition required. And I really like the nearly flat trigger. If I get another it'll be the flat version.
A biggie I just recalled. With heavier triggers I consistently pull my shot just a tad and I know the corrective action for it. However, being lazy and stubborn, I can compensate for it and all is well. Pretty much have distances memorized. I first set up at 50 meters and naturally offset my poa. My poa became my poi and I was a bit confused through a few rounds. It then dawned on me that a combination of a nearly flat trigger and its light pull negated my natural "flaw". I do the same with 1911s and they're absent when I use my 2.0 and 2.5 pistols. I have 2 other 1911s with flat triggers in the 3.5 - 5.0lb range. If I pull those shots I haven't noticed it. Anyhow, I'm very pleased with the Timney. I could only imagine what it's like with some of you guys high-end set-ups.
