Pulled off stock quad rail and installed an Aero Quantum mlok. Arisika mlok light mount. Rattle canned it to match.
Zeroed everything dead ass then came home and decided to switch the optics around again
Set up a Geissele high speed national match trigger in the new build. Lower is done except bolt catch.
I found that at some point I turned the elevation knob a full turn. Off the paper at 100yds. I was sure it was on, and I know how to shoot, so my heart started pounding until u shot the lower target and the group appeared on the paper above it. Still don't remember turning the knob.
I actually installed a BAD-ASS ambi safety and a Geissele SSA trigger in my BCM 16" middy. She is now fully complete.
Suppressor burned through my Proctor sling. Back to the VCAS...

Well today I finally got to zero my SBR build! I had to adjust the Superlative Arms adjustable bleed off gas block, BUIS and scope.
I adjusted the gas block the same time I zeroed the BUIS.
The initial BUIS zero was on the 25 meter target.
After I got it on, I moved out to 50 yards and checked it. I got a good BUIS zero for 50/200 yards.
I sat up at 50 yards and got a good zero on the scope. Primary Arms instructions for the 2.5X ACSS is for a 50 yard zero.
I moved out to 100 yards and shot some groups and I'm quite pleased with how it shot. The Hornady American Gunner 55gr HP match did very well. Averaging 2" with acouple in the 1 1/2" range!
Low on ammo I checked it at 200 yards and the ACSS reticle was pretty much on.
After I got the Superlative Arms adjustable bleed off gas block adjusted, it functioned well and locked back after the last round. It piled the brass into a neat pile about 3 o'clock.
The Faxon 10.5" pencil weight barrel was a great shooter!
The barrel did well with the Federal Lake City XM193 load also, in the 3"+/- range.
I only had 200 rounds, 100 each but after adjusting the gas block it ran perfectly flawless.
I also find tuned the zero on my 16" twin build. It has a Primary Arms 1-6X ACSS reticle scope. I ran 20 rounds through it to find tune the zero.
A very productive day!
