Mounted a Pro on a spare. Will sight in this weekend.
Put an SLR adjustable gas block and 3.5 lb Lantac trigger on my first .308. And took it to the range yesterday - rare 40 degree day for MN january. A joy to shoot with a Recce 7.

Sighted in a couple of AP Pros. Shot the Pro out to 300 yds. Pretty easy shooting with the DD V5 and 55gr handloads.
Not much but I did receive my Geissele Reaction Rod a couple of days ago and used it to time a muzzle device. The only barrel block I have is aluminum and no matter what is used with it, inner tube, leather finger from glove, etc, I could not keep the barrel from rotating. Though expensive (to me), the rod came through as it should. Nice chunk of steel.
Ordered a batch of mags for 'em. A Magpul D60 drum, three M3 30-round Pmags and four 40-rounders--and only paid eighty bucks for all of 'em from cashing out all of my rewards points at a store I'm rethinking my business relationship with after a combination of price spikes and reward-program changes. (Granted, that gives me seventy more rewards points, but with the fifty each from three or four more product reviews and 50 points being five bucks of store credit... more free/discounted mags, I'll take my optic and laser business elsewhere.)

Not exactly Super Bowl-level stuff here but I was fortunate enough to secure quality screws (Fastenal) attaching a free float handguard to replace the junk screws that came with it. Handguard is gtg but the screws most likely come from abroad*. Soft metal and "8mm" length was actually closer to 7mm. Six screws attach the free floater. It came with 12 and I stripped 11 before hitting 15 inch pounds. Recommended torque is 25. I kept the remaining virgin screw to mic, took my measurements with me and headed to town.
A great kid (upper 20s or so) waited on me. He quickly figured what the screw dimensions should be and had the exact size and style in stock. He showed me a few pics of ARs he had built. And then put me on to a local guy who sells parts, builds ARs, etc and said he was very good to go. Turned out to be a really good day. I was a happy camper. It was very refreshing to be waited on by a courteous, knowledgeable young man with whom I shared a common interest.
*The Fastenal screws are YFS which are made in Taiwan. But YFS fasteners are known to be high grade. These particular little screws are class 10.9 which is grade-8 equivalent.
