    Prior observation?

    Hypothesis?

    Prediction?

    Possible postdiction?

    Findings?

    Analysis?

Were these all done offhand or on the rest only?

Prediction? A lot of ammo was going downrange today

Possible postdiction? I psyched myself out a lot by not controlling my breathing

Findings?Occasionally everything would come together and I would be happy with a group. This happened more when I was relaxed and not as tense

Analysis? I think this upper should be reserved for steel and I need to eventually get an LPR MOD 2 upper and Nightforce
    I hope that answered that!

Rest only, I did a lot of 8" steel plate shooting from a standing position as well but was only mildly successful. Haven't decided on a preferred stance yet

I suggest you try some different types of match ammo to see how it performs. Might not change much. Might make a huge difference.

No dude is going to get shot in the chest at 300 yards and look down and say "What is that, a 3 MOA group?"

Relative dot brightness is a big factor in precision, longer range shooting with a RDS.

Under 3" group from 1X optic with 2MOA dot? Thats darn good shooting IMO.

What was your issue with it?
