Thread: 870P problem. Does this locking block look okay?

    I used fine steel wool and a brush chucked into a drill to do the chamber and I took a little emery paper to the areas where there was a little raised metal in the barrel extension and a little bit around that flat spot on the locking block. As I noted in the original post, I don't think I personally ever experienced the problem on that gun and I definitely didn't once it was back from Remington for its new ejector, but it was removed from service and sold because of an issue with locking up after firing. After yesterday, I would say it was definitely money well spend.
