While I keep several hundred HSTs, my current carry load is the Hornady Citical Duty. Feeds well in my carry guns and shoots well for me.

After taking a look at the on going research being done over at the Lucky Gunner Labs, my current carry ammo is the Barnes 115gr TAC-XPD +P. This round came third in the testing based upon expansion, but it was easier to get than the two rounds that expanded slightly better.

It is for me, I just picked up a bunch of fresh 124gr from Bone Frog for cheap, should last me a goo while. I think HST is the best out there for concealed carry.

Both 9mm guns that run can full time as well as my G43 have the HST 147s in them

All my other 9mm pistols are loaded with HST 124+P

It has good expansion and feeds well in all of my guns.

From what I've read, the HSTs are still tops. I use Critical Defense as that sharply tapered bullet has been 100% feed reliable in all my semi's. Comparing standard pressure to standard pressure, it gives up some expansion to HST, but has comparable penetration.

To me, the best testing protocol out there is done by the Shooting The Bull Ammo Quest guy. I made my decision based on his findings.

If you'll look carefully, it's ordered by weight, and within the same weight, by alphabetical order.

Saw that but didn't have context outside of that. Thank you.
