I took my Colt 6601 to the range the first time the other day and noticed it has that old fimiliar twang that I forgot existed until I shot it. I had a double star a long time ago that did this same thing, and thought it was part of the package with ARs. I've noticed my BCM guns never make a lot of noisevin the same spot. Will a new spring fix that? What are my options here outside of buying a JP captured spring or "twang buster"? Also will a carbine spring work in a rifle buffer tube/RE?

Its an AR thing. If your BCMs aint doing it you just got lucky in the tolerance stacking department.
EDIT: The geiselle 42 spring shouldn't make sound.
