Do you guys think tradin a Remington 700 for a Trijicon ACOG 4x32 is a good trade? It has all the raised lettering, larue mount and it came from a guy in the military has the horse shoe recticle

Run the serial number past Trijicon first. They won't warranty or even service ACOGs that originate from MIL orders unless you are .mil yourself.

Is it a basic 700, or one of the more expensive models? If it's a basic model then jump all over it. When you call Trijicon make sure to ask them the year of manufacture. Tritium has a 12 year shelf life, and last I checked Trijicon charges around $500 to replace the tritium.

In my area that rifle would bring about $500 to $600 on the used market. If the ACOG is legit and in good shape it could bring between $500 to $1400 depending on what model it is and its age.

Then don't bother. That scope is stolen government property and Trijicon will report it to C.I.D. or N.C.I.S. if you call.
