So did you get it? If not you should.

I have or have owned the K16i SM1, Mark 6 TMR D, and Razor II VMR:

    FOV:
    K16
    Razor
    Mark 6

Clarity: Hard to tell. I think K16 just edges out the others.

    Brightness (optics):
K16i (could be an illusion from larger FOV
    Razor, Mark 6

    Brightness (illumination):
    Razor
    Mark 6
    K16i

    Eye box:
    K16i, Razor
    Mark 6

    1x Performance:
    K16i, Razor
Mark 6 (due to greater "tunneling" effect and illumination "flicker" as you move around the eye box)

    Weight
    K16i, Mark 6
    Razor

Reticle: Preference. Vortex is the simplest, but coarsest. Kahles is clean, but no windage holds. Leupold is more cluttered, but has full elevation and windage with nice locking but uncapped turrets.

The optical clarity and field of view on the K16i are second to none. Just as fast as my Aimpoint T2 on 1x while maintaining the capability to have crystal clear 6x magnification. The illumination is easily truely daylight bright and the reticle on the SM1 is great for fast aquisition. In the 1-6x magnification range I think its hard to beat the K16i considering weight, clarity, FoV, illumination and reticle.
Vortex defender ocular cap negates the diopter issue.

I ended up just using one wrap of electrical tape under my AAD Mount cap. Works pretty well so far.
