I have just bought a new Stag Arms Lower Receiver that has a U Forging mark on the right side on the lower part of the receiver just in front of the trigger guard. Does any one know who the forging company is that uses the U mark.

Aero precision has lowers with the "U" forging mark too, but I'm not positive who the actual forging company is.
That is interesting, I figured Stags parent Company Continental Machine And Tool (CMT) did the machine work on the receiver but I had never seen the U Forging Marking?
I have 2 Aero lowers with a U forge mark as well.
Maybe some one at Aero precision knows who Forges those receivers with a U symbol??

Some Pictures of the U Forging Mark
Here's a thread with almost all the forge markings for those curious. They don't mention the U one, but nearly all the others.
