How does the glass on the new gen3 1-6 compare to say the Steiner P4XI? That's another option OP.

The glass in the P4Xi Steiner (Schott glass) is much better than the Gen lll PA's 1-8 that I have, as is the eyebox.

The Steiner should be a couple hundred bucks higher than the PA's.

If you spent DD money on a rifle, you should have at least Trijicon or Vortex money for the optic.

Or you should have bought a Colt instead.

Steiner P4XI regularly go for upper 400s from DSG Arms and Botach. I got mine e from DSG for 390 plus shipping but I don't know how often they go that low.

That's what I figured. My buddy has an old gen 2 and clarity at 6X at 300 left a little to be desired although it could be how his diopter is setup for his eyes.
