I have a MWS 243 barrel that I want to take the extension from to have a 6mm creedmoor barrel made. Any recommendations for someone to do this?
Also, was thinking 22" length, any thoughts on 20" or 24"?
Thanks!

Surprised that you didn't get any answer, I'm also wondering about it too. I think there are ones out there, or they can be made, but my question is more around the magazine. I've seen some references to 6CM not feeding well.
22inch barrel, Longer than rifle gas length, with an adjustable gas block is how I'd like to see it configured to deal with how relatively uncommon set-up this would be. That should give the best chance of getting the round to run right.
The Second Amendment ACKNOWLEDGES our right to own and bear arms that are in common use that can be used for lawful purposes. The arms can be restricted ONLY if subject to historical analogue from the founding era or is dangerous (unsafe) AND unusual.
It's that simple.
Matt was removing barrel extension on a Gen ll DPMS AR 10 for me on a project.
Ultimately I decided the project was money wasted and bailed.
Matt was highly recommended however. Might contact him.

GA Precision did it for me, 24" Bartlein 7.7" blank with SLR adjustable gb. Just need to get some ammo and get out to the range with it. They did notice something rather amusing about the BCG, though. Much more worried about than I am. I'll have to post pics when I get a chance.
