Socom 556 mini 1vs2

I know there are "benefits" to the gen 2, but in the mini specifically, are they enough to justify going 1vs the other assuming the 1st gen was a little cheaper? Not sure if they are realized as much in the mini as full sized.

I have many of the 1s and none of the 2s. When I have shot the 2 side by side with the 1 at the time didn't justify the price difference between them. 799 vs 1100. So I purchased a few more of the 1s for $799. It's a mini and on a 5.56 so it just is what it is. The 1 does well enough from my findings the 2 didn't justify the 300 bucks for me on a mini. If it was only a 50-100 spread, I would have just done it. I was not able to shoot these side by side at night or with NV to comment on signature, etc

Thank you. I'm not seeing the genes for 799 anymore. I thought I would, any links? I might end up going gen 2 for under 1k.
