Nice! That is good to hear.
Curious what the Feds' take on the matter was.

I have seen much much worst based on being on my uncles SOT for a while.
End of day, some good gunsmith did very well in saving it.
m60 Joe is one of them...Herb does great work.

I believe in peace, love and extremely violent weapons systems... just in case that whole peace-and-love thing doesn't work out.
Congrats. Hopefully funds have arrived. If you don't mind, please put the dealer at some point so others know to avoid him.

In a previous post I mentioned that it seemed that I had been the victim of a bait and switch fraud on a FUBAR M16 registered receiver and that things got "interesting" finally being resolved after what I believe to have been some behind the scenes intervention on the part of the Fed's (ATF and Postal Inspector) and at least one lawyer.
I am happy to say that the mess is finally over as the refund check cleared the bank today. 5 days short of 13 months!!
I'm still out money for dealer's fee's (and the dealer up here ended up actually being a significant contributor to the problem) and incidentals (shipping, etc.). But it ended "relatively" well and just short of Federal court.
I still owe the Bower's an update.

Ted, I'm glad to hear that you got the main part of your money back. Sucks that you had to go through these shenanigans in the first place, but it definitely could have been much worse I suppose.

I was following the previous thread. This is very good news!
Congratulations, glad to hear it worked out. Please out the shady characters involved.

Congrats, good to hear you got the bulk of your money back.
Let us know who this dealer was so we don't end up in the same boat.
