I am quite curious to see pics?

It may have multiple threads to put it in after we see it.

Nonetheless, I don't blame yah for wanting it to not interfere, but the pins can go both ways...

    I have two of those.

Geissele addresses the problem with the hammer pin in their advertising and in their instructions:

Please also note that the extended controls of the Geissele Maritime Bolt Catch will partially cover the pin hole for the hammer, a smaller punch may be required to push the hammer pin out of the receiver from the left side, and the hammer pin should only be installed from the right side of the receiver.

Additionally, the Geissele Maritime Catch is not compatible with the Forward Controls EMR-A (Enhanced Mag Release - Ambidextrous). Which bites because I really like them both.

The Maritime Catch does work with the KCA, Troy and Norgon ambidextrous mag releases although the Norgon is short enough that there is a greater possibility you'd release the mag when pressing the bottom of the Maritime Catch to lock the bolt to the rear.

I needed room for the slave pin in the Geissele SSA to push out the side when installing that trigger.

I was lucky not to mar my receiver since it was a tough spot to grind down.

I still plan on getting more of these for future builds.

I can post a photo this weekend.

Thanks, I do like the look of that bolt catch.

Mostly, though, I was hoping to see what the OP's looks like after dremeling as to how much material needed to be removed.

Nonetheless, I could see one of those on a future build.

I'd like to see it also. I have one I am going to install eventually, but don't see any need for "dremeling".

I don't get it.They have an angled cut on the lower left side of the tab and it's squared off on the lower right side partially covering the hammer pin. It's like bass ackwards.

If we assume that this was designed for a military unit as claimed, it makes sense since they cannot disassemble their own fire control groups. Whether or not they do it, is another matter altogether. So once it is installed, it's not going to be torn apart every other day.
