I can't tell from the picture if those were Metalform or CProducts manufactured. If they were Metalforms, then that was a killer deal.

Dang they're already gone. It said factory Colt. I think the C Products have an orange follower.

I've seen both shipped/sold as factory. The CProducts wouldn't run in my 9mm RRA SBR, but the Metalform run 100%. Of course it could have been a combination of the 9mm RRA SBR and CProducts magazines that caused the problems. The CProducts might run fine in a Colt 9mm AR15.

That said, comparing the picture to some Metalforms that I have, I think they're Metalforms. The only thing that's throwing me off is that the follower looks a bit different. Of course whoever bought them could have got a mixture of "factory" magazines.

Related question: can the tiger stripe be removed without damaging the anodizing underneath? I want a set, but in the usual black.

I don't know for sure, but it's not very durable. Decent contact seems to take it off.

Did you find out while assembling your set?

If someone just wants a copy patterned 9mm setup, Schuyler has the Spikes lower and Aero slickside upper set for $150. Lower comes will all proprietary parts, just add your lpk, re, etc.

No. I'm just going by the nicks and rubs on the set that I received. It looks good from beyond a foot, but up close you can see the imperfections.
