I doubt they are all gone. I have had a deposit since June 1 st but I would be surprised if he had sold them all. Call Dave Wagner at sanswissarms.com

Would love to have that 751. Again, please chrono it and tell us what the velocity of 7.62x51 is in it. My challenge is that mags alone are going to run me 1400 bucks as 20 is my absolute minimum ( I have 55 Sig 550 mags),

Outside of these, I can't even find any Sig 551s for sale...are they that rare and collectible? Pardon my Sig ignorance.

A very limited amount made it in before the 89 ban and a few have popped up as LE trades that were exempt from 922r since. When they pop up for sale they go for full auto prices.

KTR03, I will try to chrono it, but I rarely shoot with someone that owns a chrono.

I am surprised they have not sold out in 3 minutes if that is the case.

It's still an expensive firearm. I remember when the CA DOC HK94s were introduced to the market about 10 years ago for $1,500, even though that was about half the going rate for a preban it still took almost a year for them completely disappear from the market.

Then there were the HK P7s for $500, last dealer price for a P7M8 was $1200 about 5 years prior to that and it still took a long time for them to get completely cleaned out. Those PSPs were the deal of the decade and now you'd be lucky to find one for $1000.

PJs even brought in some rare and limited edition AUG rifles, took awhile for them to sell out. So while these 551s might be a steal at 1/3 of the price of pre89 imports, there are still a lot of people who realize you can buy 3 Colts for the same price. Once you go over the $1000 price point for a practical carbine, you probably loose the interest of 3/4s of the shooting community.

And when they are gone, they are gone and prices will adjust accordingly. It's the same with NFA stuff, I remember buying Powder Springs M-10s for about $1,000, then somebody had to go and invent that damn LAGE upper which made everyone jump on the M-10 bandwagon and now they go for $7,000 pretty easy.

Really wish I had kept one but I thought I was making a killing when I flipped a bunch for $1,000 more than I paid for them.
