    WA2000 for sale on GB

Someone is selling one of these on GunBroker, supposedly only 15 ever made it to the USA. Starting bid is $75k, although I've heard the last one to surface went for $134k. Could be interesting to see what it ends up going for.

Strange, but cool rifle just the same. The only one I have ever shot was on a Playstation game!

It's such an interesting rifle but strange that no one really followed its lead. The thinking behind it I think is quite good, just with most things German the design was overly elegant. Maybe if it were made today based on what we know now they could pull it off--the AUG and Tavor, for example, providing some guidance. We have AR10's, we have the PTR keeping the G3 type going, but do we really have anything really nice like this anywhere now? Nice like dress up nice with wood and elegance?
