Several years ago when I spent a lot of time on ranges (now just shoot on my own property) I would collect all the brass I could find. I had boxes and boxes that I would accumulate and then take to a local shooter's supply store that would give me $2 per box. Even now when I go to a range on the odd occasion it is difficult for me to walk away and leave brass on the floor.

Must resist, mainly once fired 223 , local school can't shoot reloads due to liability reasons, Just from one sat.
currently the 5 gallon range buckets are full of 223 and 308
Pistol bay 5 gallon buckets are full of 9 and 45, someone just bought a 10mm atleast 5 empty boxes in trash with brass on floor
Upper pistol bay is literally carpeted in brass. Private and LEO use..
