So Rob, am I correct to assume you prefer the LMT over the Larue/Troy for personal use?

No.

I use the Larue when using a 1x optic, and the Troy when using a magnified optic.

That's a good question, and one I don't actually know the answer to right now. I'll try to measure it and get back to you.

Not to side track from a good thread, but what it the barrel length on this one?

that is a (mostly stock) Colt 6933 with an 11.5" barrel.
I chose it because I knew I wanted to run an Ops 15th Model suppressor and that's the shortest barrel that can will work on. The collar you see behind the flash hider and the thread protector on the flash hider itself are part of the mounting system for that can.
