Quality sandbags

I'm looking at picking up some sandbags for training and it seems like the sandbag market has exploded over the past few years. What are some companies that you guys would recommend that make some quality bags that keeps the sand leaking to a minimum? I've had some experience with the bags from Rogue, but they leaked sand like crazy-- I guess being constantly abused at a Crossfit gym didn't help, either.

Hah, I like how they call a $50 sandbag "inexpensive". NOT

I used to put a plastic bag inside the sandbag to help control leakage, works good.

I use pea gravel inside inner bags, and this eliminates leaks.

One of their filler bags busted on me after significant use. I was not surprised considering the way I treated it, but at the time, the warranty section of their website didn't play well with Safari. This was actually a major PITA as they would not accept a simple email. Finally got a windows computer to get it done and was sent a new one. That one bust a seam significantly faster than the other, and then within maybe two days my other filler bag did from them as well. So I've broken all three that I've had. I decided to give Brute Force a shot based on Amazon reviews. To be fair, I was not using the filler bags in their intended manner when they bust open.

Thanks, guys! Just as I was afraid of, looks like a solid bag is going to cost me around $100...that $50 does seem like a bargain in comparison haha. Wake, how's the Brute bags treating you?

Can't comment unfortunately, I didn't have a chance to use them before I left for a little while. The filler bags seem pretty similar, I assume the big difference will be using them the way they are meant to be, as fillers inside of the out bag. That thing is pretty solid from first impressions.

If you're looking for a cheap way to do it, we used to use cheap nylon sandbags, and put those in someone's seabag lined with heavy duty trash bags for when it inevitably exploded inside. You can find seabags at a surplus store for idk anymore, $5, $10, $20? It works for a big bag although it's all frumpy to grab, but it makes for a cheap and real-world usable one, i.e., awkward to pick up and transfer weight....

Otherwise, +1 for MTI, they have nice ones. I've abused the hell out of them as well.
