Do the Trijicon RMR's experience thermal drift?

Googled, couldn't find much at all on this topic. Anyone experience thermal drift with RMR's?

    Thank you.

I have not experienced it with the RMR or the deltapoint. This is in the 100+ degree el paso heat.
    Dont sweat the small stuff.

If youre not taking fire, its all small stuff.

I haven't experienced it in a year of carry

But I'll say, at distances you're going to shoot a handgun, you're more likely to experience shift from temperature sensitivity or the ammo....but odds are you're not good enough to notice.

I would agree that any shift when used with a handgun aren't going to be significant, but a lot of people are using them on rifles. That being said, I haven't noticed any. I run a RMR on a Larue offset ring mount.

Do the Trijicon RMR's experience thermal drift?

For clarity, I was particularly interested rifle mounted RMR's. Thanks!

Dude it doesn't matter what you have it mounted on, if the RMR has thermal drift problems it will manifest on pistol, rifle or whatever you have it on.

Say there is a 2 MOA drift from -20 to 140 degrees.

Say you're an expert pistol shooter and shoot in this complete range.

Let's say you shoot at 25 meters each outing.

The alleged thermal drift will show 1/2" at 25. How many shooters can hold 1/2" at 25?

So is it a problem that manifests on a pistol? I am not so sure most would notice.

Thinking along these lines as well.

And to add to that, anybody experienced with precision rifle will find they may see 20-30fps change in velocity per 20 degree shift due to temperature sensitivity of smokeless powder. How much shift from ammunition is confused with "thermal drift"?
