As may have been said. After a decent round count, the copper may fill in some imperfections of the C.L. So clean the paste that comes with before shooting. Then shoot it and check accuracy after 200 rounds. Then if you ever see accuracy totally take a crap, clean it.

Sometimes you can run some nasty ammo that the barrel may not agree with and it could bite you. In the end, shoot it and have fun.

I always clean new guns very meticulously. A lot of them will have certain types of packing grease inside the barrel, you want to make sure that is completely removed.

After which shoot and clean like normal.

I've noticed some of my guns tend to start having better accuracy after shooting 50-300 rounds, some no difference was noticed.
