    Nevermind, never going piston, DI forever.

    Decided I don't care. Will stick with DI until I die.

    The last guns I will own will be DI Colt AR's and Colt 1911's.

    Why the epiphany? Did you witness a catastrophic piston gun failure or something?

    Me, I appreciate not having to clean the gas system on an AR. It was really that simple. I got tired of cleaning carbon out of AK and SKS gas tubes, and when I learned you don't need to clean the inside of that long skinny AR gas tube my ears perked up and I began to be interested in the system.

    Correct gassing and quality parts are everything. I wouldn't take a piston gun for free.
