    LMT MWS reloading

So, part of the cool kid club now! 16" CL

Since I'm a reloader, looking to spin up some loads for the beast. Planning on using a fmjbt, had good luck in the past with Hornady's 3037 bullet and also a match oriented load 168-178 class.
Have 168 AMAX and 178 ELDM's on hand as well as H4895, CFE223 and IMR 8208 XBR.
Any other brand of bullet that is generally a "safe bet"? Then debating standard CCI vs. GM which is mainly for the bolt as supplies are slim for that.

    Any pet loads?

    Mark

Ive used 44.0 gr Varget with 150 gr Hornady FMJ and 168 and 175 Matchkings in Winchester cases in both bolt and 308AR with excellent results. CCI primers with the 150's (Heavy Rifle 3-Gun load) and Federal match for the others. 8208 XBR has also worked very well, though I can't recall any specifics.

I did the math, ball ammo handloaded per 20 is 9(Hornady 3037 bullet, LRP and powder at 30 per # and I have brass), the MEN is 11.20. I didn't factory in tax or shipping for either. I have time so, hey 2.20 per 20 adds up. Of course the equipment has been paid for many times over. I will more than likely still buy some ammo to have stashed. Going to load some test match rounds today I hope since my yard chores are done.

Let me suggest you buy some MEN ammo for plinking AND THE BRASS for reloading. The ammo shoots around 1.5 moa and the brass is excellent for reloading. I have over 500 rounds stashed and usually sling 20 every outing.

We use a lot of Nosler custom competition 168's for a quality precision bullet. We buy in lots of 500 and you can find them cheaper than SMK's and are 95% the bullet IMHO.

I have once fired BH's for the match stuff but will try some of the Nosler's. How are they in regards to seating depth?

Years ago mark told me that and to use 42.0 grns. It was magical out of my 16" chrome line barrel.

I wish 4064 would meter correctly out of the Dillon powder drop.
