    BH brass that I tried had the thinner win style necks. That doesn't work for me in my set up. MEN brass is excellent gas gun brass because the primer pockets hold up great. I'm loading 168 smk for Pappabear because they shoot a little better than nosler cc's. Seating depth is just mag length.

    Okie, plan on getting some MEN to try and save the brass. I can get some 1x LC match brass from a buddy as well. So, Nosler vs. Sierra.
    I did some preliminary yesterday with H4895 and Hornady 168 AMAX, .75-1.25. Have to work up a bit more as I wasn't getting bolt lock, only bad sign I saw was primers, flattening, no ejector mark. Part of the issue I realized is the 10 round Pmag I was using is tight for one and has excessive bolt drag(single load) ended at 41.5. I did fire some BH 175 and 7 went into .75-thought I had more but forgot the other box. I'll see how these AMAX 168 do and try the Noslers first. What powder Mark?

    I have had real good luck with pulled 175s behind 42 gr of imr 4064. Not that you listed that powder. I did experience popped primers when I used benchmark, despite being within the published powder tables.

    I'm loading the following for my LMT MWS 16" CL:

    Nosler 168 Custom Competition
    H4895 @ 40 grains
    Win Large Rifle Primer
    LC '11 brass (1x Fired) @ 2.005" (small base dies, shoulder set back .003" from fired case measurement)
    OAL = ~2.82"

    Shoots just under 1" at 100y for me (4x ACOG), and makes about 2,470 fps.

    40.5 grains makes 2,500fps, but isn't as precise.

    Substitute Sierra Game King #2145 for hunting (OAL = 2.80")

    Years ago mark told me that and to use 42.0 grns. It was magical out of my 16" chrome line barrel.

    I wish 4064 would meter correctly out of the Dillon powder drop.

    I tried just powering through on my Dillon. I ended up with a mess. 40 rounds in I got a bad powder bridge and it puked powder everywhere.

    4064 runs these rifles great, metering exact quantities is a problem. Varget runs similar, or as good for some, and meters better, but I don't get the same results for use. I don't push for high velocities, more so for consistency though.
