New Kac Sr-16 uppers coming...

I find those markings oddly specific to be stripped uppers. Seems weird.

I can say they aren't stripped uppers. But I'm not sure what else I can say about them.

I bet they'll be factory sbrs with some uppers at some point. Just a guess.

I've been jumping across three threads on two forums for more info on these.

Just to clarify, because I'm not sure if I interpreted correctly, the Bolt Carrier on these will be just like the current SR-15 bolt carriers right? The chrome bolt itself will be the only difference on the BCG?

I also wonder if these will be Mod 2 uppers or will they be Mod 1 with URX 3.1.

Until a Kac rep speaks up somewhere then it's all speculation. I think the hype building is part of the plan. Personally I love the mod 1 cqb. I was so happy to find out that's what I was getting. I have nothing against any other model but there's a special place in my heart for the urx3.1. If I didn't mention it already my sr16 upper runs like raped ape with a vltor a5h3. Semi, full and suppressed. Also the handguard handles the heat very well.
