Thanks for the info everyone. I'm not concerned at all about feeding m855A1. I just would like a couple of the new magazines with the blue follower for reference in my collection, hence the question about the newer tan okay industries magazines.

This then results in the the bolt riding over the back of the cartridge and either causing a malfunction or a click when you want a bang. This happened in at least 3-5 weapons that I know of, in one Infantry company. Could be a combination of wear on the M4A1s, but whatever it was, those with PMAGs did not and have not had a problem with feeding. I wrote memorandum on the subject and its made its way to Ft Benning. It was converted into an article on Primary and Secondary if you are interested. https://primaryandsecondary.com/why-...num-usgi-mags/
Thanks for the informative link. No internet hearsay. Straight from the user's perspective.

I assume this is to allow the round to have a more upward tilt as it enters the chamber. Our unit received a few boxes of them when we were fielded the M4A1.

Magpul PMAGs already on the market with an NSN, and now manufactured in Tan 499 no less, performed flawlessly with the M855A1 EPR in testing, but that's neither here nor there...
    Gray is the new geometry.

I simply cannot stand the thought of that hardened tip of M855A1 touching any part of my gun or magazine.

    I don't trust it yet.

It's completely insane to build a mag around a problematic round. Off topic observation.

As I also suspected, just wanted clarification.

They tried their best to copy the Magpul M3 design but seems that they're having trouble. Should have just adopted magpul..

I contacted Surefeed, and these are not the same, or intended to be substitutes for the latest USGI civilian bonus award magazines.

I will point out Surefeed did not use the above terminology, that is a semi serious comment showing my disgust in civilians getting awards and bonuses for spending taxpayer money to duplicate a COTS item.
