Cobalt, Christiansen etc... Not saying they are crap. (I am more practical, simple; Colt, BCM ) If they want to spend their cash on cool aid, good for them, as long as it doesn't forgo training.I'm curious to what a $3k call girl looks like, rifle that is
From what I understood, some of the older lowers would need them because the trigger pin holes would start to wear and oval. People would throw them on to prevent it.Anti-Rotation pins.

...and expensive covers people put over muzzle brakes to render them (more) pointless.
What is interesting is how many people mentioned the BAD lever. Basically anything that causes your AR to not function as intended.

I just can't bring myself to ditch my DD 12FSP quad rail! I've had the Smyrna roll marked carbine for a decade now and it feels so...right.
I've got other, modular, rail systems, but why fix what's not broken? Maybe at next barrel change...
