Wow! Some of you guys are haters. A lot of disharmony in this thread.

You should check out this site instead of spending so much time in this hate-filled environment: https://fengshuiforreallife.com/basics/

Now while you guys rub your earlobes - if you can, because you know, hard to do if your gauged like all the other cool guys, I'm going upstairs to my bathroom, with Uncle John's Bathroom Reader and SIT DOWN TO PISS. If I didn't have to piss so bad I'd buy an Affliction shirt first. (do they even sell them anymore?)

I heard VFGs mentioned a few times. What's funny is that I thought they were great when we equipped our M4s with the broom handles in the early days of the GWOT, and then I grew to not like them as much, preferring to shoot without them. Then they came out with the stubbys and I have been running them again ever since. I guess for me it boils down to the platform and how I envision running it. Some of my guns have them, while others don't, so I wouldn't say they're useless.

The broom handle AFG's are too long. I run a modified LaRue on mine that the length of the shortest LaRue setup. I use it as a hand stop. With the quick release I can pull it off in two seconds if gets in the way.

Hmm....I think the one AR thing that turns me off the absolute most are dust covers with slurs and profanity or lowers with punisher skulls. Especially if used in an LE professional capacity. It doesnt look good to 12 people too stupid to get out of jury duty nor on CNN where Don Lemon will say "Officer so and so used his Alt-Right-15 to brutally gun down a local drug dealer"

That and some of the gimmicky airsoft crap that floats around these days.

Also the A2 grip. I feel that if I had a smaller hand, I might enjoy it more. I still have it on one of my rifles so I dont hate it dont like it.

If its sold in the same aisle as Glock bayonets and Tapco then I will probably turn my nose up at it.

    JMHO
    YMMV

Agreed that the broom handles are too long, but the stubby on SBRs is fine for my use. I don't grip it in a way that would warrant the need for an unnecessarily long VFG. Only exception might be how I like to run VFGs on a sub like the MP5K. I prefer handstops or even the Magpul AFG on anything 14.5 and longer.

Lol. That’s funny. What about cheapo flashlights/lasers and cheapo mounts.

    -all cheap scopes/red dots
-99% of equipment with the word ''tactical'' in the name
-anything sold under youtube gun guys names
-bumpfire/bianary triggers ( Should be 100% legal but that shit is ****ing useless for real world applications)
-handguards that are more than 13'' long if there isn't a suppressor underneath
-guys that wear tactical vests and camo to public shooting ranges
    -tactical 22's
-lasers ( not talking about night vision illumin but actual lasers like the ones you shine at a cat )
-any muzzle break that is not being used as a blast baffle for a suppressor.
    -Basically any non teir1 AR

I agree with everything else, but a 13" handguard won't cover a rifle length gas system. I do realize that it's your list, and you can dislike anything you wish...

As much good luck as I've had with FAB Defense, which I know is a bit unusual, that new Mojo "masks" fugly-ass magwell-grip is an Oh HELL NO. Seriously, if you come over to my place with one of those on your AR you will be bodily expelled through the closest door. The only one who might get a pass on that's the girlfriend because, well, she's the girlfriend and if we get to the point where she can build her own guns on her own dime rather than borrowing what I build... some Stupid Rookie Shit is excusable while she goes through the learning process.

Also, things like Magpul's BAD Lever and similar. Sorry, for me it just gets in the way; mine's looking for an appreciative new home.

Gas Powered Margarita Blenders. They throw off the balance of the AR and make a terrible mono-pod when grinding ice.
