    Idiot YouTuber shoots himself, dies.

According to the article an aspiring YouTuber had his girlfriend shoot at him, thinking that a book would stop the bullet.

It was, OF COURSE, a gold plated Desert Eagle in .50. As you might have expected, the bullet went through the book, hit him in the chest, and he died on the scene.

    Stupid games etc

What is this obsession with even the most fleeting modicum of fame? It's sad really.

When asked why he was going to use a gun his response "Because, we want more viewers."

Can't read article to find out because of my ad blocker so I will ask - how did he answer the above question if he was dead?

Obviously the person who did this didn't have much sense but if you were going to try something this dumb wouldn't you test it out without your body behind the book first to see if the book could actually stop it?

Edit: Apparently he tried it on a different book, didn't see that in the story I heard earlier. Still, what an idiot.

Darwinian attrition seems to be thinning the ranks of the YouTube generation at a surprisingly high rate.

The question was asked prior to the incident.

Either way, I don't understand the stupidity here. I get people wanting fame, but maybe try it on a book without standing behind it first? The whole thing is retarded, but if you are going to be retarded, never go full retard. Problem is, he already procreated, so we can't even call this Darwinism. He already ensures his dumd-ass-gene is proliferated.

I blame the gun. Obviously had he not had the evil weapon, never would have happened. I'd never do that regardless, but trying it first minus a human as the back stop to see if it would stop bullet seems minimum safety check.

This is someone who had no respect for the gun, also no education in firearms. This is what happens when you underestimate the power of a firearm.

A basic knowledge of firearms could have prevented this.

Even if they had succeeded, it would have sparked copy cats, and eventually someone else would have died.

    Sums it up for me!
I expend tremendous amounts of energy and time merely to be normal.
