As to being killed by a woman, it's my understanding that it would probably be dishonerable/an embarrassment but I don't think even ISIS can contort the Koran to say it prevents martyrdom. But, I've never read the damned thing in depth.

Going OT, that seems to confirm the issues of combining the sexes in combat units and why it's a potentially bad idea that would get people killed. How could you not be taken with her? She's very cute. Would that not potentially lead men to take unnecessary risks to save and or protect her? Could that lead to making decisions not as based on rational thought as it should be? If I/we had a crush on her (and I already do!) would that not color our thought process and potentially put her, myself, the unit, etc in jeopardy? I can see just see so many possibilities for problems at least as it applies to our culture and our mil. Can't comment on Kurds in that respect.
