Real MK18s are a mix of:
Block 1 guns with cut down M4 govt profile barrels with triangle FSB
Block 1 guns with factory Colt 10.3" barrels with triangle FSB
Block 1 guns with cut down SOCOM barrels with triangle FSB
Block 2 guns with cut down M4 or SOCOM barrels with a Corenet, KAC, or DD gas block
Block 2 guns with factory 10.3" Colt barrels with DD gas block

My real MK 18 mod 0 was an LMT 10.5" upper. As far as I know only Army had them. Not sure about anyone else.
In no way do I make any money from anyone related to the firearms industry.

Yes, but most of us would like to have the Colt stamp somewhere on the barrel. btw, Marvin does great work. Like many craftsmen, he takes his time.
If you cannot get the Colt 10.3" barrel from Colt (I understand they are back-ordered or not making right now), the next best thing is to get the barrels cut by Colt or Specialized Armament and re-stamped. The downside is that this puts the cost up pretty high (to get it done right).
So, choices are limited. DD barrels are pretty much the same quality, but then they are stamped DD, but at least now they have a better port size.
