I got to see one of the PDWs about a week ago in a non-disclosed location. I didn't get to shoot it but I was impressed with the weight and ease of movement. It was sweet with a triple tap and dimpled barrel. I would love one of those!

The scuttlebutt years ago from Jim Schatz regarding that the KAC PDW didn't to so hot at the Army Proving Ground which diminished interest in it and/or the production guns were not running as well as test guns (or he may have been referring to another KAC model or KAC in general for that last part). I always wondered if the "oddball" chambering was what did it in, but I honestly think there might be something to the Colt MARS or KAC PDW style gun in this day and age.

There was a lot learned by those and others. Advancements take a lot of work, including gains and losses. Losses and dead ends happen. That's part of rolling the dice on an idea or concept on levels from components to platforms.
