Optic...down the road
I wanted to keep my 10.5 pistol as a simple iron sighted, foam tubed and plastic handguarded piece.
well that did not happen as I purchased a ALG hand guard when they had a blem sale.
The issue I was running into (it was easily corrected but took a second or less of movement)..... since there is no stock....my sights were not aligned properly when I snapped the pistol up. While it improved with practice....if I had to do it cold and for "real".....that precious second or less of correction got me wanting to go red dot.
While I want to keep my pistol as light as possible.....
do those with red dots comparing small apples to big apples.....find the larger optic (say a Aimpoint Pro) easier to sight in compared to a smaller optic (say a Aimpoint T1) on a AR pistol since there technically is no shouldering of a stock?
looking down the road for an optic (maybe a christmas present to myself)
thanks in advance
