S&W must be trying to keep up with Sig. Not long ago it was hard to find a CORE back strap, now they're selling entire kits. Looks like they include the ported slide and barrel, back straps, and all of the optics plates for about $400. That being said, I know the MOS has its shortcomings, how does the CORE compare? I've been able to find very little on the mounting system itself. Most of the talk goes back to the same old trigger and barrel discussions that have been beaten to death or general comments on pistols with red dots. I've seen reports of the MOS coming loose after a few hundred rounds because the screws are too short or something along those lines. Any similar issues with the CORE? What's the general consensus on the ported barrel? It's obnoxious as hell to buy handguns out here so I'm hoping this system is decent.
