Maybe. There is a false assumption that this IT guy actually cared to eliminate the evidence. The fact they were found with a large supply of toner suggests someone was trying to copy all the data.

It's very easy to take a drive apart and the platters could be demolished and scattered to the 4 corners of the Earth. But instead they smash them and warehouse them? That makes no sense. The link says "it looked like they tried to destroy" Those platters are actually pretty well protected inside those cases. If all someone did was bang it with a hammer I sure wouldn't want it to be my data if I was hiding any.

But yeah, it's a bit of a chore to get the platters out of a drive so I don't think the average person would say they looked like someone "tried to destroy them" and "left in a hurry". So there could very well be recoverable data there. Especially if they were printing the contents, they may have been waiting to wipe them, maybe they would pack them up and ship out of country, hide in safety deposit boxes. I mean who knows, depending on what might be on them.

It really makes you wonder just who are all these Dems are tied up with.

Ha! We can always dream. Can you imagine an arrest that leads to taking down the whole cabal? Lynch, Clintons, Wasserman, Huma. Man you want to see some fur flying, if anything like that was to take place, holy cow, you couldn't find enough buses for them start throwing each other under. That and one way plane tickets out of here to parts unknown.

And as a cherry on that sunday, I'd add ties to terrorist organizations for Imran Awan and the $283,000 he wired from the Congressional Federal Credit Union to Pakistan. His wife had $12,000 in cash hidden in her suitcase when she flew home.

This part is just lovely:

You'd think that wouldn't sit too well with the Jewish community in her district. Question is, are they dumb enough to reelect her again?
