No, we're horrible, just ask around.

Tigwelder1971 - welcome aboard. As TXBK mentioned, there is a lot of terrific information in the stickies.

And we also get a surprising number of welding questions, especially regarding adding/removing pinned muzzle devices.

    Thanks for the welcome!

I am doing my rounds trying to acquaint myself to the ropes of this site, attempting to make it all work.

And P/W of muzzle devices has become a side job of mine, if you will. It's crazy how popular a TiG welder becomes once guys get into ARs.

And Mods are usually only truly appreciated once the need for assistance is presented.

Yep, I know you are right about the demand for good welders. It's really an art form, and very neat to watch a great one at work.

I don't know about great, but I do nice work. 27 years practice.

I've done ~ 8 P/W jobs on my own rigs and north of a dozen for others, never a complaint.

Alot of guys come to me for the "can you take this off"? I've gotten good at removing other's butcher jobs. Angle grinders scare alot of people.

New member, familiarizing myself with the site. Where can I view a copy of the site rules/policies?

Any other info pertinent to the site usage, feel free to suggest. Arfcom member (same user name) so not new to the idea, just attempting to gauge the flow.

    Thanks in advance.

Welcome. I am a refugee from ARF.com. I know your name from there, as one of the good guys. I, too, am new here and looking to learn. One thing the other site has is a lot of rules. I am looking for good people.

I want to follow-up with a question: Why can't I add a pic or anything about ME in the profile?

To edit your profile, click on settings along the top/right. Then scroll down. While looking on the left side, under my settings, you will see "edit profile" and "edit profile picture". After editing your profile, don't forget to click on "save changes" below. Your profile pic will only appear on your profile page, and your avatar will only appear when you make a post.
