    Shot my 300 BO SBR

I finally got my stamp a few weeks back and had a chance to shoot it.
It is a 8" Aero Precision 300 Blackout.
I have a YHM ULT can on the end.
I first shot some Remington 220 grain subs.
They are pretty quiet, but I can't believe the debris coming out of the ejection port.
Is this normal? I guess I'm more sensitive to it since I'm a lefty.
No problem with the 120 grain supers in the"freedom bucket".

The one thing that I never expected is the debris that hits you in the face while firing suppressed pistols. When they start to get filthy it's actually painful sometimes. Absolutely have to wear eye protection. A friend of mine was completely turned off by it. There are some things that you have to experience yourself.
Glad you're enjoying finally shooting it after the long wait.

I guess the thing that took me by surprise was that I've been shooting all of my rifles (16" 5.56 and 6.8) for the last 2 years without this issue.

I was originally surprised by how filthy the fired brass was, and also the tops of the magazines. Reminds me a little of shooting black powder.

with subs the debris is more than likely "filler" used in the powder , the inside of your lower is probably speckled with it.

try some different subs other than the remmington

I have an AAC MPW with a 9 inch barrel, also shooting suppressed left handed.. I've never noticed any debris coming out of ejection port, shooting factory MAST and reloads...(220 SMK with 10.7 grns of AA 5744).
