Thumbs up Bond 25 Announced, Daniel Craig on board . . .

So, much in the same fashion as many of his predecessors Daniel Craig who swore he'd never (Never, Say Never Again lol) do another Bond film has signed on to don Ian Flemming's blunt instrument's tuxedo once again for the twenty-fifth installment in the franchise.

US release is slated for Nov. 8, 2019.

Daniel Craig WILL stay on as James Bond and Adele is tipped to sing theme again

Hmm. I'll have to opine that Sean Connery remains numero uno but I am thoroughly enjoying Mr. Craig with playing a close second with an edgier style.

That's a great way to put it and I like the "Blunt instrument in a tuxedo". I think they have modernized the franchise pretty well. I like the reluctant hero angle, very American. I'll go see it.

    It's that simple.

Connery and Craig are my two favorites . . .

I ponder as to what the story will entail.

Never Say Never Again is a non cannon Bond film. Just a remake of Thunderball that did better than the Roger Moore Bond film that was out at the time.

Haven't been a Bond fan since Connery, nor "action" movies in general lately. Too much stuff constantly blowing up. I like the dialogue, intrigue, suspense, and maybe a little history thrown in.

Glad Craig decided to accept the money the franchise threw at him

Now what kind of watch will it be? Of course it will be an Omeega (as he pronouced it) but will it be a different version of the Seamaster series.

He wore a Planet Ocean for Quantum and Casino Royal and part of Skyfall:

Then the Aqua Terra for the last half of Skyfall:

Then the 300 Professional with NATO strap:

Riots are like sports, it's better to watch it on TV at home.

I've always like Pierce Brosnan's acting in the role myself. Craig's Bond is more blunt, violent, and surly. He pulls it off well, but he's not quite the same as I expect. PB really had that suave thing down, almost as good as Connery.

Interested to see this step and I know that I will be at the theater to see this one. Pretty sure that when they have to recast the role for the next one it's going to get all SJW and we will see our first female Bond, or gay Bond, tranny Bond, etc... Might as well enjoy the franchise while I can. :-)
"SEND IT" happens to be my trigger words...

In choosing Craig they also changed the character and style of Bond just a bit.
Ruthless and blunt, less flash a more practical killer.
Connery could have pulled that off, but I don't believe any of the others could have.
