I'm just going by what they say here:

    Short Stroke Piston System
Hammer Forged Barrel (55.6 NATO) , 4150 Steel Nitride Treated
    One Piece Bolt Carrier
    1-7 Twist rate
    Flash Suppressor
Proprietary RAPID CLEAN One-piece Piston System
    Authentic T91 Hand Guard
    Authentic T91 Charging Handle
What is inauthentic about the bolt carrier?

Thank you for this very interesting, and informative, post!

Is the upper properly gassed? Also, what do the feed ramps look like... are they M-4 config or the older rifle config?

I'm pretty sure it's just awkwardly worded. Even the barrel blanks are supposed to be original, with profiling and nitriding done in the US.

I can't substantiate any of that, but it was my understanding reading up before I purchased.

So when they say it has a 'Proprietary RAPID CLEAN One-piece Piston System' that is proprietary to the Taiwanese arms plant in the '70s, and the Taiwanese use a Chinese phrase that means "rapid clean"?

It doesn't matter in the real world, I'm just curious what's original, what's changed, what's new/improved and what's completely US made.

I don't speak Chinese, I just buy guns. It's a T91, from Taiwan... assembled in the US on a barrel that's finished in the US.

I guess the OP was just doing a drive-by, wanted us all to know he had a new rifle.
